Michael is a well-known Australian avian veterinarian who has tremendous experience over the past 32 years working with pet birds in private practice and in aviculture as well as wildlife parks and zoos. He is currently a partner in the Cannon and Ball Veterinary Clinic in Wollongong which services a wide variety of animals, covering dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, rodents, rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, fish and invertebrates. Michael has held many important positions within the avicultural/bird industry and is a fine educator, having delivered lectures and seminars on avian topics nationally and internationally to both veterinarians and bird/wildlife carers. Michael provides services as a consultant veterinarian to many wildlife parks in and around the Sydney area.
