Sandra Forsyth is a senior lecturer in anaesthesia and intensive care in the Institute of Veterinary, Animal and Biomedical Sciences at Massey University. Sandra completed her BVSc at Massey University in 1980. Following graduation she spent three years in private practice in New Zealand followed by two years in practice in Britain. In 1986 Sandra took up a position as instructor in anaesthesia at the University of Missouri, Columbia and two years later began a residency in anaesthesia and intensive care at the University of California, Davis. In 1990 she successfully passed the American College of Veterinary Anesthesiologists examination. Sandra has been at Massey University since 1991.

We are very fortunate to have Dr Forsyth running this program for us. Sandra is enthusiastic about continuing education and you will enjoy an energetic and stimulating year of study with her.
