Maddison, J (Jill) BVSc, Dip Vet Clin Stud, PhD, FACVSc
Dr
Maddison graduated from the University of Sydney in 1978. She completed an internship
at the University of Sydney in 1979, spent 18 months in full time private practice,
then completed a residency in small animal medicine at the University of Guelph,
Canada. She returned to Australia and completed a PhD at the University of Sydney.
She was a senior tutor and clinician in the Department of Veterinary Clinical
Sciences from 1987, and in 1990 was appointed a lecturer, then senior lecturer
in the Department of Pharmacology. In 2000 she became the Director of the Veterinary
Science Foundation at the University of Sydney. She is currently living in the
UK and working as a veterinary consultant. She is currently living in the UK
where she is working as a clinician and tutor at the Royal Veterinary College
and as a tutor at Girton College, Cambridge. She has published many refereed
papers in veterinary and medical journals and was the senior editor of a book
entitled "Small Animal Clinical Pharmacology" which was published
in 2002.
